Inconel alloy X-750 (UNS N07750/W. Nr. 2.4669) is a precipitation-hardenable nickel-chromium alloy used for its corrosion and oxidation resistance and high strength at temperatures to 1300°F. Although much of the effect of precipitation hardening is lost with increasing temperature over 1300°F, heat-treated material has useful strength up to 1800°F. Alloy X-750 also has excellent properties down to cryogenic termperatures.
Application field:
High temperature components, such as turbine blades, guide vanes, turbine disks, high pressure compressor disks, machine manufacturing and combustion chambers used in the manufacture of aviation, naval and industrial gas turbines.

Inconel 600 is a solid solution strengthened heat and corrosion-resistant alloy, with good high-temperature corrosion resistance, oxidation resistance, thermal processing properties, low-temperature mechanical properties, and thermal fatigue performance. It exhibits high strength below 650°C, is easily formable, weldable, and suitable for heat treatment and chemical processing industrial equipment.
Inconel 601 demonstrates excellent oxidation resistance at high temperatures, good carburization resistance, good resistance to oxidizing sulfur-bearing atmospheres, and good mechanical properties at room and high temperatures. Controlled carbon content and grain size result in good resistance to stress corrosion cracking. Inconel 601 has high creep rupture strength and is suitable for applications above 500°C.
Inconel 617 is a nickel-chromium-cobalt-molybdenum alloy with excellent high-temperature mechanical properties and high-temperature corrosion resistance, such as oxidation and carburization.
Inconel 625 offers good corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance, with good tensile and fatigue properties from low temperatures up to 980°C, as well as stress corrosion resistance in salt-containing atmospheres.
Inconel 686 is a low-carbon nickel-chromium-molybdenum-tungsten alloy with significant resistance to general corrosion, stress corrosion cracking, pitting, crevice corrosion, and notable corrosion resistance in halogen environments. Additionally, Inconel 686 is resistant to seawater and other marine environments, widely used in industries such as chemical production, marine applications, air pollution control (flue gas desulfurization), pulp and paper production, and waste management.
Inconel 690 has the ability to resist chloride corrosion, high-temperature high-pressure water stress corrosion, strong oxidizing media, and mixed corrosion of HNO2-HF. This alloy is commonly used in nuclear waste processing plants, steam generators, and nitric acid-resistant components.
Inconel 718 is a precipitation-hardened nickel-chromium-iron alloy with the addition of niobium and molybdenum. It exhibits high strength and good toughness below 650°C. Inconel 718 has corrosion resistance in both low and high-temperature environments and can be delivered in a solution-treated or precipitation-hardened condition.
Inconel 725 is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum-niobium alloy with excellent corrosion resistance and stress corrosion cracking resistance. Age hardening can significantly improve the alloy's strength, ductility, and tensile strength.
Inconel 740H achieves age hardening through the precipitation of the γ phase and secondary phases. After age hardening, the 740H alloy exhibits excellent high-temperature strength below 850°C. The alloy's high chromium and cobalt content provide outstanding oxidation resistance, carburization resistance, and sulfidation resistance at high temperatures.
Inconel X-750 offers good corrosion resistance, oxidation resistance, and good strength below 980°C. Additionally, Inconel X-750 has good low-temperature performance and formability, primarily used in aerospace and industrial gas turbine components.
Inconel 751 is a precipitation-hardened superalloy similar to Alloy 750. It has good wear resistance, strength, corrosion resistance, and hot hardness at high temperatures, mainly used for internal combustion engine exhaust valves.
Inconel 783 is an oxidation-resistant superalloy with a low thermal expansion coefficient specifically designed for turbine applications. By adding niobium and aluminum, the strength of the 783 alloy can be increased through age hardening heat treatment. Additionally, the aluminum content in the alloy provides excellent oxidation resistance at high temperatures. The density of the 783 alloy is approximately 5% lower than that of the alloy 718.
