Q1:What's the fundamental difference between BeCu and pure copper tape?
A: BeCu (C17200) contains 1.9-2.2% beryllium, maintaining >90% conductivity while offering 3-5x higher strength and superior springback compared to pure copper.
Q2: Is there beryllium dust hazard?
Finished BeCu tape is solution-treated with beryllium in stable alloy form. Safe per OSHA standards unless ground above 400ºC.
