Product Description

Nickel Chromium Alloy 5mm Ni80cr20 Nicr8020  Electric Heating Coil Cr30ni70 Nicr Wire

NiCr8020, with the material number 2.4869, is commonly processed into strips, sheets, tubes, and wires for use in constructing furnace components and heating elements.

This nickel-chromium alloy serves as a heating element material capable of enduring temperatures up to 1150°C. To enhance its resistance to oxidation, especially in environments with frequent startups and shutdowns or wide temperature fluctuations, rare earth additives are often incorporated into the alloy.

NiCr8020 exhibits high resistance to atmospheric corrosion at 20°C. Additionally, it maintains a high degree of resistance to air, other oxygen-containing gases, and nitrogen-containing low-oxygen gases as it approaches its maximum operating temperature. However, its resistance is relatively lower to oxidizing and reducing gases that contain sulfur.

Furthermore, NiCr8020 demonstrates excellent resistance to carburization.
